Repetition brings fluency

This phase I would say is the most challenging so far. We have covered a lot more grounds in a short period of time. We have learned Ruby, Object Orientation, Active Record, SQL, rack server.etc. It was quite overwhelming.

There were moments I was very overwhelmed and frustrated when code was just breaking again and again, and….again! I was getting really upset and frustrated with myself for not being an expert about these topics in a couple of weeks. I guess that’s the problem, it takes patience and most importantly, repetition to be good. Just keep going, even if it’s small steps.

That’s basically what I did to climb out of the overwhelming mountain of new and challenging knowledge that I had to learn. I just kept learning and watching other people’s videos and forum posts, and slowly things started to click. I started seeing patterns. Those seemingly chaotic code became orderly.

Moving forward, I need to remind myself just keep learning, keep acquiring new knowledge, make small but sure steps, and have faith that I will get it, and I will be good at it.
